“The keys form distortions. They represent a poetry, a passage, a reflection.” The artist said. The lines appear to be suspended in the painting, disconnected from any background, unique and free, they represent the poetic element of the work, thus reaching the artist’s goal.

Alexandra Piras is a talented artist known for her unique approach to art, which incorporates various elements of poetry and reflection. Her artwork is a representation of her deep understanding of the world around her, and she uses her canvas as a platform to express her thoughts and emotions.
One of the most striking features of Piras’s art is the way she uses keys to create unique and thought-provoking pieces. These keys form distortions, and when combined with her other artistic elements, they create a sense of movement and depth that draws the viewer into the painting.
Piras’s art is not only visually appealing, but it also carries a deeper meaning. The keys represent a poetry, a passage, a reflection, and they serve as a metaphor for the journey of life. They represent the challenges we face and the obstacles we must overcome to unlock the doors to our dreams and aspirations.
The lines in Piras’s paintings appear to be suspended in the painting, disconnected from any background. This technique creates a sense of weightlessness and freedom, allowing the viewer to focus solely on the poetic element of the work. The lines are unique and free, just like the thoughts and emotions that inspired them.
Through her art, Alexandra Piras invites us to explore the world in a new light, to see beyond the surface and to dive deeper into the beauty and complexity of life. Her paintings are a testament to the power of art to inspire, provoke, and move us.

Piras’ intention is to dig deep into the canvas, representing lines and shapes that provide a strong impact dynamism. The stroke is impulsive, disconnected from any prior decided intention, the ability to represent with such spontaneity and freedom allows the artist to come into intimate contact with the contemplators who feel overwhelmed by the calm and immensity of blue, but at the same time, the blacks strokes bring them back to reality, leading them, in this way, to dance with the canvas, in a waltz of intimate emotions and reflections, unleashed by the artist.

Variation on Blue Distortions

At first glance, “Variation on orange Distortions” appears to be a chaotic jumble. However, the viewer can discern a series of curved lines that wind their way across the canvas, intersecting and overlapping in a seemingly random manner. These lines are the backbone of the composition, providing structure and rhythm to the piece.
Piras’s masterful use of color is particularly noteworthy in “Variation on Orange Distortions.” The orange in the painting vary in shade and intensity, ranging from pale, almost ethereal hues to deep, rich tones that almost appear to glow, to create a sense of movement and energy, as though the lines are twisting and turning in space.
The overall effect of “Variation on Orange Distortions” is both mesmerizing and exhilarating. It’s a piece that demands to be experienced in person, as the subtle nuances of color and form simply can’t be captured in a photograph. Alexandra Piras is truly a gifted artist, and “Variation on Orange Distortions” is a testament to her skill and creativity.

In “Variation on Red Disturbance,” Piras’s use of red is particularly effective. Red is a color that is often associated with passion, love, and anger, and in this piece, it takes on all of these qualities at once. The deep, rich hue of the background creates a sense of intensity, while the swirling shapes suggest movement and change.
